As a student leader in the Navigators, I strive to follow the command of 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” A large focus of the Navigators is Life-on-life discipleship, where we intentionally pour into one another and challenge each other to grow in our understanding of God. I help lead a co-ed freshmen group, and we encourage them to be deeply rooted in their beliefs so they can develop their own discipleship relationships in the future. During Spring Break, we attend mission trips in other states to intentionally spread the Gospel and grow closer together as a church community. Navigators has taught me the importance of pursuing my own faith and balancing both gentleness and guidance to others.
